Although Corrado maintains his work focus 24/7, he still finds time to be a devoted father to his son and daughter. Every second weekend he will be doing the Saturday netball run and the Sunday soccer run, then ironing school uniforms and polishing shoes ready for school on Monday. With his daughter already in high school and his son following close behind, he’s keen to provide his children with the education and resources they need to find their passion and pursue their dreams. On a personal level, Corrado developed a keen love of competition early in life, passing up an opportunity to pursue a career racing cars, he later went on to become a harness racing reinsman. Now he indulges his love of sport following AFL and Formula 1. He’d love to see the Dockers win a grand final and one day follow F1 around the world circuit.

Born and raised in a small beachside town in Sicily, Melina migrated to Perth with her family at the age of 14, not knowing a word of English. Completing her schooling and entering the workforce was a challenge, which many non-English-speaking migrants will relate to.
A job as a retail assistant in a city jewellery store helped her to fast-track her language skills and then, one fateful day, a work colleague invited her to visit a city health club and introduced her to Brian, the owner. Before long, she had forsaken jewellery for barbells and, after what seemed an interminable five years, they were married, and remained happily so 36 years later.
Melina started working in property management almost nine years ago after being introduced to a role through a family connection. Never having regarded herself as a “sales” type of person, she soon found that people responded well to her honesty, quickly came to trust her and happily referred their friends and family. Over the years she has been both a tenant and an owner, so she understands the concerns and anxieties that people have when dealing with property from these different perspectives. Her philosophy in business is to treat everyone with due respect, to never promise anything she can’t deliver and to care for every client’s interests as though they were her own.
Outside of business, her greatest passion is her family; her husband, her three adult children and her adorable grandson, Ethan. She also loves photography and enjoys taking lots of interesting photos whenever she is out and about, exploring the beauty of nature and gardening. Originally from England, Ron grew up in Essex on the outskirts of London. Working for a large national insurance company, Ron soon discovered a passion for customer service, particularly helping customers to solve their problems.
After 20 years growing and developing his administration and management skills, Ron made the big decision to immigrate to Australia, arriving in Perth on Anzac Day in 1987.
After a brief stint as a real estate agent, Ron found his ideal role with Bartercard, where he helped to grow the local brokerage dramatically. Working as a telemarketer and personal assistant to the Sales Manager, he soon became the go-to person for new clients wanting to maximise their membership participation. The opportunities and business generated by Ron in his genuine desire to help, quickly led to his Sales Manager becoming the top Bartercard Salesperson in the World.
Ron enjoyed more than 16 years at Bartercard, receiving numerous promotions and opportunities to work in a variety of roles from customer service to management and staff supervision. Ron credits Bartercard for expanding his abilities to match up one client’s needs with another client’s products and services, therefore enabling these clients to expand their trade capabilities and maximise the benefits of their membership.
These skills have provided the perfect foundation for launching his role at Resicom Access. Ron is loving being back in the real estate industry where he generates new business as well as matching clients from different divisions to the diverse range of services available within the group. Regardless of how a client is introduced, Ron takes responsibility for their care, making regular quality service calls to ensure they’re well looked after.
On the social scene, Ron has always been a keen backstroke swimmer and since arriving in Perth, he’s been heavily involved with Masters Swimming. For almost 30 years his administration skills have been put to good use at the Thornlie Swimming Club, where he has held roles as Club Captain, Vice President and President.
Currently, Ron volunteers most weekends to work as a Referee at Masters Swimming events (Pool and Open Water) and also officiates each week for the junior swimmers at Thornlie. In 2014 Ron was named National Masters Swimming Official of the year and more recently, he has been invited to Italy and Canada to referee at the FINA World Masters Championships.
As well as time spent with his extended family, travel is also a favourite past time. He also enjoys most sports and still supports his English soccer team.
Robert has moved into real estate after spending more than 13 years selling seafood. In that role he got to know his clients, what they wanted and when, then he stocked according to their needs. He turned a simple retail transaction into a respectful and considerate long term relationship. Some of his clients used to bake him cakes, in gratitude for his setting aside the best produce!
His main motivation for moving industries is his strong desire to form deeper, longer-lasting connections with his clients, by supporting them through their decision to engage in the biggest sale and purchase transactions of their life. Robert recognises that these important decisions need to handled proactively, to get results; and honestly, with none of the fake sales pitch and bullsh*t people have come to expect from sales agents.
Robert’s genuine objective is to service and satisfy his clients. These are the core values he’s learned throughout his career, from selling seafood, to working as a fitness instructor. He says “It sounds corny, but it’s all about the client. My job is to listen and learn from them, so I know what to do to deliver what they need. I treat them with respect and I explain things carefully so they know where they stand and what their options are. That’s how I’ve built such great relationships, people feel they can trust me, because they can”.
Robert will tell you honestly that he isn’t perfect and he doesn’t know everything, but his genuine desire to do the right thing and deliver a great result leads the way in every situation.
